My favourite thing about conferences (besides all the learning of course) is the networking and social events that go along with these educational gatherings. This is the only time we (injectors) get together and share our little pearls of wisdom. Anything we may have picked up or tried, successful or not. There is so much in cosmetic medicine that remains open to new things and new methods.
This photo is from the Aesthetics 2019 conference, my favourite of last year. It was incredible how much was packed into a few days of lectures. I was really looking forward to attending it again this year but alas, 2020 is the year of COVID-19.
In the meantime, the learning and education continues online and via webinars and zoom meetings. Hopefully we will be able to convene in person in 2021.
